Do you only provide online speech therapy?

Yes, this is online speech therapy. You can simply stay at home and only need a laptop or iPad.

Will this be reimbursed by my health insurer?

Yes, your health insurer will fully reimburse online speech therapy up to the age of 18. After that, you need to take into account your excess. We have contracts with all Dutch health insurers.

How can I sign up?

Do you also come to your home?

No, this is online speech therapy.

Do you have a waiting list?

No, we have no waiting list and can help you immediately.

Can I try it for free?

No, online speech therapy is care. You cannot try it out for free.

Can it also be done at school?

Yes, it can be done during school hours, at school. Always consult with your school first.

Can I also speak to the speech therapist(s) regarding my child's problems?

YeYE. After registration, the speech therapist(s) will contact you to identify the care need.

Is online speech therapy as good as traditional speech therapy in a physical practice?

Yes, definitely. Sometimes it is even better because your child will feel safe at home with you or your partner beside them and because the waiting room in a physical practice can be intimidating.

Is online speech therapy suitable for young children?

Yes, very much so. We have had a proven approach for more than 15 years.
For example, we work with speech and language games. Children really enjoy this. This way they learn in a playful way.

How long does a speech therapy session last?

A standard online speech therapy session lasts 20 minutes, but this can vary depending on your child's needs.

What do I need for an online speech therapy session?

You will need a laptop, tablet or smartphone with:

  • internet connection
  • a working camera
  • a working microphone

As well as a quiet place for the speech therapy session.

How often should my child attend speech therapy?

The frequency of sessions is determined in consultation with the speech therapist, depending on your child's specific needs and goals.

Are the sessions one-to-one or in a group?

Our sessions are one-to-one, allowing us to give targeted and personalised attention to your child.

How do I know if my child is making progress?

The speech therapist will regularly evaluate your child's progress and discuss it with you, keeping you informed of progress.

What if we have technical problems during a speech therapy session?

If you experience technical problems, you can contact our technical support via the website or the speech therapist will reschedule the session.

What happens if I can't connect with the speech therapist(s)?

If, due to technical problems, on your side, the speech therapy session cannot take place, you will be charged for the cost. This is not reimbursed by the health insurance company. Please make sure you have logged in once beforehand to avoid technical problems.

Is there any specific software we should download?

No, you can follow the sessions directly through your web browser. The login details are shared with you in advance.

Can I attend speech therapy sessions as a parent?

Yes, we encourage parents to attend speech therapy sessions. Especially with younger children, this is recommended to support and help them during the speech therapy session.

What happens during the first speech therapy session?

During the first session, the speech therapist will conduct an intake meeting with you to understand your child's needs and goals and create a treatment plan.

What happens if my child cannot attend a speech therapy session?

If you have cancelled with your speech therapist(s) at least 24 hours before the speech therapy session starts, we will schedule a new appointment free of charge.

What if I cancel too late?

If you cancel late (less than 24 hours before the start of your speech therapy session), we are obliged to charge you for the cost of this speech therapy session. This will not be reimbursed by the health insurance company.

What happens if my child is ill?

Should you be unable to cancel in time due to force majeure (e.g. illness), we will schedule a replacement appointment in consultation with you.
