Online speech therapy

Hello, I am Hale Aydin

I graduated as a speech therapist in 2021 and since then I have been working enthusiastically with both children and adults who have developmental delays, autism, intellectual disabilities or behavioural problems. In my work, I have gained extensive experience in examining and treating both children and adults in the areas of language, speech and communication. In addition, I have completed the FloorPlay course and have experience with sensory information processing (SI), both in knowledge and practical application within counselling.

In doing so, I always look beyond the request for help: I deploy supported communication where necessary, such as gestures, speech computers and communication cards, so that each child or adult can express themselves in their own way and feel understood. From my SI experience, I also include stimulus processing and regulation in counselling, as these often have a major impact on communication and interaction.

What characterises my working method is that I not only coach the child, but also actively include parents and carers in the process. By coaching them in the daily use of communication tools, both at home and at school, the group or home, there is more peace, understanding and pleasure in communication. Also from the FloorPlay vision, I connect to the child's development, interests and abilities so that interaction and communication can grow in a playful and safe way. In this way, we work together to increase the child's self-reliance and self-confidence.

Communication is the basis of contact, development and connection. Whether it's a child learning to say its first words or someone learning to pronounce sounds again: I find it special to be part of this. In doing so, I strongly believe that communicating is much more than just talking; there are countless ways to show what you think, feel or need. Together, we look for an approach that suits your family and your child's abilities.

To support parents even better, I am currently taking a parenting coach course. This allows me not only to offer speech therapy guidance, but also to think along with parents about parenting questions and communication in everyday family life. My goal is that parents feel heard, supported and secure, and that children feel seen and can develop optimally in their communication.
