Nurses and carers

Online speech therapy is available for children, (young) adults and the elderly. As a nurse or carer, you can arrange for TinyEYE support for patients with dementia, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson's Disease, or people who have had a stroke. Online TinyEYE speech therapy allows patients to be helped in the comfort of their own home environment.

After a stroke.

Communication isn’t a natural process anymore for patients who have had a stroke. Especially for people who suffer from ‘Aphasia’. Aphasia is a language impairment , affecting the production and/or comprehension of speech and the ability to read or write. Speech therapy after a Cerebro Vascular Accident (CVA), commonly referred to as a stroke, is therefore of great importance in the recovery process and can help regain the ability to communicate. TinyEYE speech therapy provides online Aphasia therapy. Interested to read more about Aphasia speech therapy or do you want to know how you can help improve the patient’s speech and language abilities? Read all about it in our flyer.

Service TinyEYE

Speech therapy for dementia.

Dementia can result in language and/or speech disorders. Some patients experience problems in converting thoughts or ideas into words and phrases. Others have difficulties telling a story or understanding spoken information. Speech therapy in dementia is aimed at improving communication between patients and their environment.

TinyEYE for clients.

Speech therapy for Multiple Sclerosis (MS) patients.

As a result of chronic or periodic symptoms caused by MS, problems may arise in the areas of speech, language, swallowing and voice. The treatment chosen by the speech therapist depends on the difficulties the client experiences in daily life. TinyEYE speech therapy helps to reduce these symptoms, allowing MS patients to express themselves better and communicate more easily.

Speech therapy for Parkinson's Disease.

Speech therapy for Parkinson’s disease is for patients who, as a result of this disease, have difficulty finding the right words, telling a story, or speaking clearly. But also for people who encounter obstacles in eating, drinking, or swallowing.  TinyEYE speech therapy helps to reduce these symptoms, making it easier for the patient to function in daily life and communicate with the people in their environment.

Will my patient's treatment be reimbursed?

TinyEYE speech therapy is in most cases reimbursed by the health insurances. However, you have to take into account that there could be a personal contribution. Our speech therapists are happy to help you look into this.
